Larkin and Lacey

Unbeknownst to many is the underlying duality of truth concerning the human experience and how it is perpetrated within the consciousness of the masses. Honestly, there are a lot of people who have been fed lies and brainwashed to believe that fairness and equality for all has come to manifest itself within the current existence of society.

When in fact, for quite some time, there has been a silent war being waged against the numerous suffering injustices committed upon the civil, human, and migrant rights of the underprivileged and minorities.

But just as there have been greedy, exploitive, unethical, and corrupt authority figures profiting and operating in the dark on the unjust end of the spectrum, there have also been compassionate and virtuous freedom fighters and truth seekers on the just end.

For decades, truth seekers have sacrificed and sought to expose all the lies and dirty deeds done by those in power who masquerade around as saviors to gain the trust of the people. Many organizations have been able to successfully establish themselves as pioneers in the fight. One such group is the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).

This group dedicates its mission to protecting the civil rights of women, children, the disabled, immigrants, and migrant workers. By educating the public and using the power of litigation to resolve unrighteous acts, the SPLC has been able to lend themselves in service as a voice for those in need of fair and equal living.

The SPLC is also to be accredited for the Intelligence Project that is internationally prominent for tracking and locating foreign and domestic hate groups. Another group aiding in the fight against inequality is the Alliance for Justice (AFJ).

This organization’s operation stands to empower all the nonprofit equal opportunity groups that seek to ensure fairness be carried out by the federal judiciary system upon the public. The AFJ upholds a reputation for expertise in legalities and therefore are well informed of how to assist those in need of exercising their rights.

Nonetheless, of the many civil advocacy programs that subsist to devote and divide their delegation’s purpose and efforts into various operations, there are those organizations that solely stand behind a primary focus. The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is one such program. Read more: Jim Larkin | Crunchbase and Jim Larkin | Angel.co
The IOM, established in 1951, is “the leading intergovernmental organization in the field of migration.” Their cause is aimed at facilitating migration via development and regulation to ensure that migration is handled humanely. Another cause founded to support migrant operations is the Lacey and Larkin Frontera Fund. The Frontera Fund was ironically created out of the injustices imposed upon the co-founding duo Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin.

Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin originally teamed up to establish the Phoenix New Times and the Village Voice Media writing publications that sought to expose illegal agendas and cover-ups being carried out by officials of the state of Arizona.

In their attempt to unveil the local law officers’ abuse of power, they themselves became the victims of unlawful acts and were arrested without probable cause.

As a result of this, Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin sued the state and received a large settlement from which they founded the Frontera Fund to help fund Latin-American groups who seek to express civic freedoms within the Arizona and Mexican border region.

The Frontera Fund alongside the SPLC, AFJ, IOM and so many other equal opportunity organizations, are valuable assets to the sustenance of humanity and would prove detrimental to society if we were to live devoid of their genuine purposes.
