THE ROLE OF ADAM MILSTEIN AS A PHILANTHROPIST AND BUSINESSMAN

You may have heard of the name Adam Milstein from news about philanthropy or even charitable doings of the world. Adam is regarded as one of the most popular philanthropist in the United States. Other than being a philanthropist, Adam is also a successful investor who has huge interests in real estate. He is also a known entrepreneur and businessperson who has had a very successful career in his life. Adam was born in Israel, Hafai as the firstborn of his family. At that time, his mother was a homemaker while his father was working as a real estate developer. After migrating into Israel individually, Adam’s parents met and got married in the year 1950 and their first child naming him Adam Milstein.

Adam Milstein was persuaded to join the Israel defence forces in 1971. He was under mandatory duty in the army where he served during the Yom Kippur war of 1973. Under the supervision of Ariel Sharon Adam fought on the Egypt front during the war. Mr Adam Milstein got to experience and actually was a part of the crossing of the Suez Canal. After his services at the Army, Adam enrolled in Technon where he pursued his education and was able to acquire a degree in business and economics in 1978. Adam was helpful towards his family’s business of real estate and construction. He joined his father towards working improving this business to a higher level.

Mr Adam married his wife, Gila Elgrably, in 1974. The marriage happened in his hometown, Haifa. After marriage, Adam and his family got an opportunity to move to the United States. Living in the United States, Adam acquired a master’s in business and administration from the University of Southern California in 1983. After pursuing his education, Adam started off by working in the real estate industry as a sales agent. The birth of a charitable foundation, the Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation, came about when Adam and his wife joined arms to work together. The main purpose of creating this foundation was to offer charitable as well as philanthropic services to other organizations that share similar aims. By doing this, Adam together with his wife prospected to strengthen the United States, the Jewish people and the State of Israel.
