Meet the Owner of the Roberto Santiago Manaira Mall: Roberto Santiago

Roberto Santiago, now 58 years old, was born and raised in Joao Pessoa. He enrolled in the Pio-X-Marist College where he studied finance and later advanced his education at the University of Joao Pessoa where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Upon school completion, he got a job at a small Café in Santa Rosa. Although the firm was not very prominent, this job is considered the foundation of his great entrepreneur culture. Here he learned the importance of saving and the value of money. After working for a while and saving a little cash, he decided to begin his venture with the knowledge and skills that he had acquired.

Santiago, therefore, began his cartonnage company. At first, the company only manufactured and supplied cartons to other corporations and carton cardboard. However, the firm later expanded to a home décor company. Santiago must have had a good grasp of business because his first venture was a great success.

His passion, however, lied in real estate. This is why in 1987, he finally decided to follow his dream and bought a piece of land to build the Roberto Santiago Manaira Mall. He must have had a great strategy because it only took him two years to launch the mall.

The Roberto Santiago Manaira Mall has been embraced by the people of Joao Pessoa. They can now do all their shopping under one roof which saves time and reduces the stress of moving from one building to another in search of products.

The Roberto Santiago Manaira Mall has also revived the entertainment sector of the people of Joao Pessoa. They can now access all the recreational facilities that they need. When designing the mall, all the age groups were considered. Many family outings are now held in the mall.

Roberto Santiago Manaira Mall has a total of 280 premises. There are numerous food courts, which are updated continuously to ensure the needs of all customers are covered. Some families have even made it their culture to go for food tasting in the mall.

Then there is the Domus Hall. Launched in 2009, it changed the entertainment sector of the Brazil people at large. The hall is well aerated and is soundproof. It also has a unique sound range and a lighting system. The Domus hall can accommodate 14000 audiences; 4000 sitting and 10000 standing. The hall is divided into two: the upper stall that has private cabins and the lower part that is used for public ceremonies. The Domus Hall has given the Brazil residents, the privilege of enjoying performances of celebrities from all over the world, who would have otherwise not visited Brazil.
