Adam Milstein and History-Filled Jewish Heritage

When talking about Israel, discussions may come up about a heritage based on a rich history originating from biblical times. This reason makes it easy to see why Israel is one of the most talked-about nations in the world. One Jewish entrepreneur that takes delight in sharing his opinions goes by the name of Adam Milstein.

Adam Milstein is the Israel-born founder and chairman of the Pro-Israel organization, Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation. He is a war veteran and was a member of the Israeli Defense Forces during the Yom Kippur War. Milstein became a Technion graduate before arriving in the US and completing his USC-accredited MBA. He ventured into the real estate business in 1983 and has been active in the industry ever since.

Milstein is also an author on the Times Of Israel blog, which is an online newspaper founded by David Horovitz which started in 2012. Recently, Milstein wrote an article in January about his pride of the Israeli heritage and its remarkable history.

Adam Milstein started the article and illustrated Israel’s great achievements with an overview of the story of the Maccabees. The Maccabees were a minority Jewish group living in Greek-controlled Israel who banded together and worked to fight against the Greeks. Although they were small in number compared to the Greeks, the Maccabees freed Israel and gave independence to the Jews that lived there.

He used the story of the Maccabees to propose needs in the form questions that are relevant for Israel today. These proposals included inspiration in Jewish history and dedication to Israel’s future. Milstein gives insight into his own questions by describing eight gifts that must be given in Jewish families to their children: pride, courage, persistence, knowledge, innovation, belief in the impossible, brotherhood, and passion.

Milstein explains the gifts’ beneficial perks such as self-understanding, the desire to fight against all odds, endurance against struggle, being intellectually equipped, creating novelty, achieving impossible tasks, commonality with those of common ancestry, and revealing life passions.

Adam Milstein has given insight on things that are needed for enriching Jewish youth. Such care that Adam has shown for the younger generation should remind us of one thing: children are the future.
